Loretta Tam earned a B.S. in Biology from UCLA in 2005 and is currently retained as a staff scientist at SWAPE, where she provides research assistance and support on a variety of projects. Ms. Tam is a trained odor assessment specialist and has provided support on various projects involving nuisance odors, particulates, and toxic emissions. Ms. Tam has field experience performing odor sampling surveys and data collection at a large municipal landfill and a commercial biosolids composting facility. Ms. Tam has provided general support on several projects including the preparation of cost estimates and proposals, performing research, and assisting in the preparation of reports and presentations for clients. Ms. Tam has also provided support to principal staff in the preparation of data packages and reports for trial.
