Dr. Sullivan has been involved with environmental research and environmental consulting for approximately 25 years and is a nationally recognized expert in forensic environmental science. Dr. Sullivan has extensive experience providing expert services in the areas of environment and construction to industry, insurance carriers, local government, engineers and contractors. Dr. Sullivan received his Ph.D from the University of California, Riverside in 1978.

Dr. Sullivan has managed or directed an extensive number of research and laboratory studies, field investigations and legal cases dealing with 1) the environmental chemistry of soil, water, solid and hazardous wastes (organic and inorganic), 2) the chemistry of trace metals in soil, surface water, and groundwater from mineral wastes and acid mine drainage, 3) soil and groundwater geochemical modeling, 4) sanitary landfills and hazardous waste management, 5) remote sensing/aerial photo interpretation, 6) the development of solid and hazardous waste leaching/test methods, 7) laboratory test methods and QA/QC, 8) waste and wastewater treatment, and 9) environmental forensics.
