Jorge Gonzalez earned a Double B.A. in Geography and Sociology with a minor in Urban and Regional Studies at UCLA and is employed as a GIS and Air Modeling Specialist at SWAPE. His undergraduate research focused on GIS, Remote Sensing and the application of biogeographic theories to satellite imagery. Currently at SWAPE, Jorge gathers data from expert reports, meteorological stations and industrial plants to model and analyze the spread of pollutants in the ambient air. He also creates figures for litigation involving nuisance odors, particulates, and groundwater and soil contamination of toxic emissions.
